Salary: £14.80 an hour
The Relief Kitchen Assistant will play an important role within Jewish Cares Catering & Hospitality team at the Anita Dorfman House, part of the Sandringham Campus in Stanmore. This relief/bank position provides casual hours on an as-and-when-required basis, helping to cover staff absence and maintain a consistently high standard of hospitality across the campus. Duties include basic food preparation such as vegetables, salads and sandwiches, preparing food counters and dining areas for service, serving hot and cold food and beverages, maintaining clean and hygienic environments, and operating the till and cashing up when required. Previous experience in a busy kitchen environment is desirable, along with a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate or willingness to undertake the qualification. Some weekend working may be required.
