About the role
We are looking for a Senior Developer (ARDA / PostgreSQL) to join a large-scale enterprise modernization project. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with ARDA, PostgreSQL, and enterprise database environments, with a proven ability to support application modernization initiatives, database segregation, and high-performance production systems.
Responsibilities
- Refactor the ARDA application code to integrate with a dedicated PSI PostgreSQL database instance.
- Design and implement the segregation of PSI from the current shared database environment into a dedicated architecture.
- Review application dependencies to ensure secure and efficient integration.
- Design, develop, and implement solutions focused on application modernization.
- Participate in database migration projects while ensuring business continuity.
- Optimize database performance through performance tuning and best practices.
- Support enterprise-scale production environments and troubleshoot critical issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and reliable technical solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Developer, Backend Developer, or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with PSI Database Segregation or dedicated PSI database implementations.
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL and SQL.
- Experience working with ARDA.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale production environments.
- Experience with Application Modernization and System Design.
- Experience with database migrations.
- Strong knowledge of database performance tuning.
- Experience supporting business-critical production applications.
- Advanced English (required).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS Aurora PostgreSQL.
- Previous experience supporting Santander applications.
- Experience with ARDA or PSI-related systems.
