Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures
Requirements
Maintains staff by monitoring orientation and training of employees, developing personal growth opportunities
Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, establishing priorities, resolving problems, and reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries
Provides manufacturing information by compiling and sorting production performance records and data
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending education workshops, creating/revising systems, and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, and budgetary and personnel requirements
Maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of control points, equipment, and resources
Leads by example and corrective action for compliance with established policies and procedures
