We are looking to recruit a committed, patient focused Therapeutic Radiographer to join our friendly team here at the Rosemere Cancer Centre in a Bank Capacity. Our department at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS FT is a busy centre providing ISO9001:2015 certificated external beam radiotherapy services for Lancashire and South Cumbria. We are part of a Radiotherapy Operational Delivery Network collaborating with the Christie NHS FT and The Clatterbridge Centre NHS FT to provide high quality radiotherapy across the North West of England.
You will rotate through pre-treatment and treatment delivery allowing you to practice in all aspects of external beam radiotherapy localisation, planning, data prep, treatment delivery and imaging. New graduates are supported by a well-established Preceptorship programme and lifelong learning is central to both Departmental and Trust values.
Responsible for the safe, accurate and efficient planning and administration of external beam radiotherapy, ensuring a high standard of patient care, information and support while respecting the privacy and dignity of all patients under their care. To provide clinical supervision and advice for other staff and students to support them in reaching their fullpotential.
