Throughout the 15-month programme, you'll spend most of your time working within a dedicated ward or clinical area, allowing you to become part of the team.
Working alongside nurses, doctors and other healthcare professionals, youll gain experience in monitoring and observing patients, including measuring things such as blood pressure and changes to weight and temperature.
Alongside your practical experience, you'll attend study days, complete coursework and undertake practical assessments to demonstrate your learning and development. You'll receive support throughout as you build the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to deliver outstanding patient care and begin a rewarding career within the NHS.
