Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust are seeking to appoint a 10 Programmed Activity locum Consultant in Diabetes and General Medicine, to be based at the University Hospital Lewisham site as part of the development of the new general medical model and the development of the diabetes service inclusive of foot, antenatal, type 1 diabetes and community diabetes services.
The post is for a whole-time (10 PA) Consultant Physician with a focus on delivering diabetes services and covering acute intake medical work, and providing ongoing care to patients admitted on the take. The post will be based at University Hospital Lewisham.
This post has scope to become a substantive post.
Clinical Responsibilities
The post holder will provide high-quality health care for patients referred for diagnosis and treatment, including outpatients and inpatients. The post has a focus on delivering diabetes services and covering acute intake medical work, and providing ongoing care to patients admitted on the take.
