Through our Develop-Build team, we manage projects from concept through completion, giving team members exposure to both development and construction throughout the project lifecycle on multifamily, mixed-use, and high rise projects.
Position Overview
LG Group is seeking a Project Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of multifamily, mixed-use, and high-rise residential projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Unlike a traditional general contractor environment, this role provides exposure to both development and construction, allowing you to work alongside project teams throughout the entire lifecycle of a project. You'll partner closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Development leaders, consultants, and subcontractors while building the skills and experience needed to advance into Project Management.

Key Responsibilities
Support preconstruction, estimating, buyout, and project planning efforts
Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, drawings, permits, and change orders
Maintain tracking logs and project controls throughout the construction lifecycle
Coordinate project meetings and distribute meeting minutes
Assist with procurement activities, subcontractor onboarding, and material tracking
Monitor project schedules, milestones, and delivery timelines
Partner with field teams to support project execution and subcontractor coordination
Participate in safety, quality control, and project closeout activities
Help identify and communicate potential project risks, design changes, and cost impacts
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
0-3 years of construction experience through internships, co-ops, or full-time employment
Understanding of construction documents and project management processes
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Microsoft Office and construction management software is a plus
