About the role
Salary: £41000.00 to £48000.00
The Team Leader
holds day-to-day operational and clinical leadership responsibility for the
diagnostic endoscopy unit, ensuring safe, effective, patient-centred care is
delivered consistently across all sites. The postholder is accountable for
workforce planning and staffing resilience, budget and resource management,
clinical governance and JAG/GRS accreditation, and the education and
development of the nursing/ODP team deputising for the Head of Endoscopy as
required.
This role sits
above the Senior Endoscopy Nurse/ODP tier described in the Endoscopy Nurse/ODP
job description. Where a Senior Endoscopy Nurse/ODP demonstrates the capability
to take charge of a list or shift, the Team Leader carries substantive,
continuous accountability for the unit as a whole its safety, performance,
people and regulatory compliance and is the point of escalation Senior
Endoscopy Nurses/ODPs work to when taking charge in their absence.
