We have Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) openings available across our nursing programs, with a variety of shifts and schedules to fit your experience and availability:
Shift & Weekend Differentials:
2nd Shift:
+$4.00/hour
3rd Shift:
+$5.00/hour
Weekend:
+$2.50/hour in addition to applicable shift differential

Position Summary for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)
The LPN is a valued member of the nursing team responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with each resident’s individualized care plan. This role supports residents in a designated care setting while promoting dignity, comfort, and safety. LPNs also provide clinical oversight, coordination of care, and guidance to nursing assistants as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)
Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration, treatments, and clinical interventions
Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
Supervise and support CNAs in delivering daily care and ensuring quality standards are met
Observe, document, and report changes in residents’ condition to appropriate team members
Promote residents’ independence, preferences, and dignity while maintaining safety
Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, team members, residents, and families
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and confidentiality protocols
Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventions
Requirements for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)
Active and in-good-standing LPN license in the State of Maine
Ability to work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers, residents, families, and supervisors
Ability to exercise clinical judgment, discretion, and maintain confidentiality
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in spoken and written English
Basic computer skills
