Crew 1 - Days:
$20.00-$25.00 hourly Monday-Thursday | 7:00am - 7:00pm 8 hours of guaranteed overtime each week Crew 2 - Nights : $20.00 - $25.00 hourly
Monday - Thursday | 7:00pm-7:00am Plus $3.00/hr shift differential 8 hours of guaranteed overtime each week Weekend Day Crew: $20.00 - $25.00 hourly Friday - Sunday | 7:00am - 7:00pm Work 36 hours per week and get paid for 52 hours per week Weekend Night Crew: $20.00 - $25.00 hourly Friday - Sunday | 7:00pm-7:00am Plus $3.00/hr shift differential Work 36 hours per week and get paid for 52 hours per week Why Join Us? Position Summary
Marmon Utility is hiring a Machine Operator to set up, operate, and monitor machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining production, quality, and safety standards while minimizing downtime and waste.
Qualifications:
No prior machine operation experience required - we provide paid on-the-job training for all new employees.
Candidates with experience as a Machine Operator, Extrusion Operator, Production Operator, Manufacturing Operator, or Equipment Operator are encouraged to apply
(higher pay dependent on experience).
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
Basic math skills required
Job Responsibilities:
Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality and workplace safety
Operate production equipment according to established procedures and work instructions
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Ability to safely handle reels, spools, hand tools, and measuring equipment
Safety & Physical Requirements:
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
Work safely around manufacturing equipment and moving machinery
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Education:
High school or equivalent (Required)
