The role
As a Production Systems Engineer, you will help drive our goals by:
Maintaining
- accurate , controlled manufacturing process documentation in line with quality,
- regulatory
- and internal standards.
Creating and
- maintaining
- product routings in KBM to reflect current manufacturing processes,
- resources
- and lead times.
- Supporting the migration of process documentation and manufacturing data into CAQ systems, ensuring version control and data integrity.
- Leading the Quote Review Board (QRB) process to assess manufacturability, cost
- feasibility
- and production readiness for new product opportunities.
- Developing detailed cost analyses covering labor, materials,
- equipment
- and external vendor contributions.
- Coordinating with external vendors to assess capabilities and integrate supplier processes into internal routing and costing models.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial
- , Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in manufacturing engineering, production
- systems
- or a closely related engineering role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, process
- documentation
- and product routing.
- Experience with ERP or MRP systems, with KBM experience highly
- advantageous .
- Demonstrated ability to perform cost estimation, manufacturability
- assessments
- and vendor evaluations.
- Clear communication and collaboration skills when working across engineering, production,
- planning
- and commercial teams.
