VCA Knapp's Corner Animal Hospital is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team!
Since opening our doors in October 2024, we've quickly grown into a thriving 4-doctor hospital built on collaboration, accountability, and a shared commitment to exceptional patient care. We're proud of the positive culture we've created and are looking for a Veterinary Assistant who is passionate about veterinary medicine, loves working as part of a team, and is ready to contribute from day one.

What You'll Do
- Support doctors and technicians with patient care, treatments, and procedures
- Obtain patient histories and assist with exams
- Perform veterinary assistant duties confidently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Provide compassionate client communication and education
- Help maintain safe, clean, and organized treatment and hospital spaces
- Work collaboratively to deliver an exceptional experience for patients, clients, and teammates
What We're Looking For
- Required: Previous experience working as a Veterinary Assistant in a veterinary hospital
- Strong animal handling and restraint skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
- Preferred: Experience with surgery support, anesthesia monitoring, dentistry, laboratory procedures, or radiology
- Fear Free experience or certification
Veterinary assistant certification
Compensation
Competitive pay based on experience, skills, education, and credentials.

- Full-time opportunity available. Open Mondays - Saturdays.
