Strengthen Internal Controls, SOX, and Compliance
Design, document, implement, and test SOX-aligned internal controls
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, federal and state tax requirements, and internal policies
Lead coordination of external audits and support regulatory examinations

Supervise, mentor, and develop two to three accounting professionals, including staff accountants and AP/AR specialists
Establish performance goals and provide ongoing coaching and technical guidance
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
Provide training on technical accounting topics and evolving GAAP standards
Provide Strategic and Ad Hoc Support
Support investment due diligence, M&A activities, and special projects
Assist with board and investor reporting as needed
