Clinical Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
- Conduct face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations with patients of all ages
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses
- Prescribe medications and review ongoing treatments
- Manage patients with complex or long-term conditions (e.g. diabetes, COPD)
- Make referrals to secondary care and other services when necessary
Patient Care & Safety
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records
- Follow safeguarding procedures for vulnerable patients
- Ensure high standards of care in line with NHS guidelines
- Participate in quality improvement and clinical governance
Practice Involvement
Work collaboratively with nurses, pharmacists, and allied health professionals
Participate in practice meetings and multidisciplinary team (MDT) discussions Administrative Duties
