An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic professional to join our dynamic District Nursing Service as a Community Nursing Deputy Team, to work alongside the Team Lead to provide leadership and day to day management of the Community Nursing Team based at Ponteland.
The post holder will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating packages of care for patients on their caseload, delegating appropriately providing and leadership to inspire and motivate others to high performance by agreeing clear goals and objectives, providing support and guidance and creating opportunities for development.
The deputy team lead is responsible for the planning and delivery of the District Nursing services within a designated area, prioritising clinical need to provide holistic care, maintaining accountability for their own practice while working without direct supervision.
