We have an exciting opportunity for Clinical Coders to join our experienced team on a hybrid working basis. Working across a range of specialties our Clinical Coders provide an expert Clinical Coding service for all 37 Nuffield Health hospitals.
Provide a Clinical Coding service for all Nuffield Health hospitals
Accurately assign ICD-10 and OPCS-4 codes to hospital episodes covering NHS and privately funded activity
Code activity from a wide range of clinical specialties
Provide coding expertise as required by the business
Respond professionally to queries from hospitals and consultant surgeons
Escalate any issues to the Specialist Lead or Clinical Coding Manager, when appropriate
