is seeking a
Scheduler I
to join our patient-focused team in Charlottesville, Virginia!
Position Status: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday - Friday 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM
Location: Charlottesville, Virginia
Position Overview
The Scheduler I plays an important role in creating a positive experience for our patients. This position supports patients throughout the scheduling and registration process while working closely with our Imaging Center and Business Office teams.
Key responsibilities include:
Scheduling patient appointments and coordinating imaging services
Providing friendly and professional assistance to patients by phone
Registering patients and maintaining accurate patient information
Managing medical records and other patient documentation
Communicating with patients, physician offices, and internal team members
Supporting daily Business Office and Imaging Center operations
Providing excellent customer service throughout every patient interaction

Requirements
EDUCATION:
To be competitive, must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Ability to work independently and multitask.
Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Knowledge of computer applications and Microsoft Office
