Be responsible for the operational management of the service, contributing to planning, co-ordinating, delivering and evaluating the relevant service to take a lead role in developing teams and services in the relevant pathway and to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
Work alongside the Senior Operational Manager in contributing to overall Directorate strategy/policy to ensure the Directorate delivers its quality, quality improvement, people, finance and performance objectives (in regard to the service they manage).
The Operations Manager will also work with the Senior Operational Manager and Senior Lead of Quality and Governance on research development and programmes for their service.
Support workforce planning, staffing and resource managementmonitor service performance and support delivery against key objectives/contractual requirements
Support quality, governance, risk management and patient safetyleading and supporting service improvement and changeworking closely with clinical leads and multidisciplinary teams supporting staff engagement, development and wellbeing
