About the role
Overview
Poly-America, L.P., a leading manufacturer of plastic products, is seeking a Material Handler at its Grand Prairie, Texas location. This role works to secure and transfer finished goods and/or scrap
Responsibilities
include the following with the possibility of additional duties being assigned as needed:
- Banding and securing the finished skids
- Transporting finished skids to conveyor system
- Assist in putting lines back in production
- Picking up scrap after lines are put back in production
- When necessary, acting as a packager

Qualifications
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
- Two years of job related experience
- Must successfully complete Poly-America’s Industrial Mobile Equipment training and testing program for forklifts
- The ability to be a good student of Poly-America processes, equipment, and procedures.
Successfully passing a drug screen is required for this position
