WHAT WILL YOU DO AT POWELL?
Work with clients in the advertising, marketing, media and tech sectors
Responsible for day-to-day client communication and account activities
Successfully pitch and secure media placements in top tier and trade publications
Establish and develop relationships with key media and influencers
Monitor media outlets for coverage of client news and competitor developments
Monitor social media for client news, reporter insights and relevant industry trends
Deliver proactive updates to supervisors on projects and responsibilities
Write pitches, press releases, award submissions, event submissions and op-eds
Write social copy drafts amplifying PR placements and supporting PR messaging and strategies
Track and analyze social media performance data for ongoing optimization and best in class deliverables
Share updates on clients calls
Mentor account coordinator and Interns
WHAT CAN YOU BRING?

Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
Minimum of 1-2 years PR agency/communications experience and Bachelor’s Degree OR minimum 2-4 years PR agency/communications experience
Social media experience a plus
Excel/Google Sheets data analysis experience a plus
Motivated self-starter
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines, and work on multiple clients and projects at once
Ability to manage up where needed
Love for writing & media
Love for creativity, culture and trends
