Responsibilities
- Work alongside Licensed Plumbers on residential service calls and installation projects
- Assist with troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing residential plumbing systems
- Install, replace, and service water heaters, fixtures, piping, drains, sump pumps, and other residential plumbing equipment
- Assist with larger plumbing installations and replacements from start to finish
- Perform plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installations under proper supervision
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and provide friendly customer service
- Maintain clean, organized tools, equipment, and company vehicles
- Complete assigned work safely and efficiently while following Illinois plumbing codes and company safety procedures
- Communicate with dispatch, management, and team members throughout the day
- Participate in ongoing training and hands-on development opportunities
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of documented plumbing experience
through an approved sponsored plumbing apprenticeship program
Hands-on experience with residential plumbing systems, tools, and materials
General understanding of plumbing diagnostics, repairs, and/or installations
Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and willingness to continue learning
Ability to follow direction and work effectively alongside experienced Licensed Plumbers
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Comfortable working with tablets and mobile dispatch technology (ServiceTitan experience preferred)
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment as required
Ability to successfully complete the hiring process, including assessments, interviews, background checks, and drug screening
