The Village at Summerville is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lead CNA to join our team to create a warm hospitality experience for all our residents, staff and visitors. In this position, you will enjoy working with a passionate team to provide quality service throughout our community.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Perform all duties as per the SC Department of Health CNA training program
- Assist with training and onboarding of the newly hired CNAs and Nursing Assistants
- Provide guidance and oversight to ensure CNA work performance meets expectations
- Ensure room cleanliness and organization by performing room checks on a weekly basis
- Promote a cordial environment for the residents
- Answer call lights and provide or assist residents with ADLs
- Stock and distribute supplies as directed. Follow guidelines for charges of items charged to residents and use them for the job without being wasteful
- Clean, disinfect and return all equipment to its designated storage location after each use
- Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED
- CNA certified in state of SC
- Three years of experience as a CNA
Intermediate computer skills
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree
CPR certification
- Five years of experience as a CNA
