Undertake audiological assessment of babies aged over 7 months, children and adults in accordance with British Society of Audiology (BSA) recommended procedures and national guidance.
Practice autonomously as a registered professional, interpreting diagnostic findings and developing appropriate management plans.
Analyse and interpret information obtained from medical history, otoscopic examination and audiological assessment results.
Deliver rehabilitation and counselling to patients and families affected by hearing loss and tinnitus.
Participate in peer review, clinical audit and quality improvement activities.
Manage the day-to-day operation of the Paediatric Audiology Service, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and efficient clinic utilisation.
Undertake line management responsibilities, including one-to-one meetings, supervision, performance management and annual appraisals.
Develop and implement service improvement plans in line with organisational and national priorities.
Manage the department's clinical timetable, ensuring capacity is maximised whilst maintaining a high standard of patient care.
Investigate and manage patient concerns and complaints in accordance with organisational procedures.
