Ultrasound Sonographer (MSK & Pain Management) – Weekend Contract
Location: South West England Contract Type: Weekend locum (ad-hoc weekends) Start: Ongoing – weekends only
Role Overview
We are currently recruiting an experienced Ultrasound Sonographer to support a weekend-only service across sites in the South West. The role is focused on musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound and pain management, supporting clinics with diagnostic imaging and interventional work.
This is a flexible contract — not every weekend is required — and availability will be coordinated as part of a rota.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing MSK ultrasound examinations
- Supporting pain management clinics
- Experience with ultrasound-guided injections or interventions is highly desirable
- Ensuring high clinical standards and patient care
- Working collaboratively with clinicians and wider MDT
Requirements
- HCPC-registered Sonographer (or equivalent)
- Strong experience in MSK ultrasound
- Pain management / interventional ultrasound experience preferred
- Ability to work independently in a clinic setting
- Weekend availability (ad-hoc / rota-based)
Rates & Payments
- Day rate: £800+ per day (depending on experience)
- Payment method: Umbrella / PAYE
- Flexible commitment — no requirement to cover every weekend
