About the role
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
This position provides administrative and technical support to the Installers at Construction Resources. Requires excellent customer service and good communication skills. A willingness to work in a team environment with the Operations Team is necessary. In addition, the Install Crew Manager role will be responsible for coaching and training Installers and Helpers.
Essential Functions
- Manage Installation Teams.
- Manage customer service issues as they relate to service, scheduling, and quality control.
- Manage Repair Schedule and Repairs Team members.
- Improve interface between Commercial Installation group and facilitate an efficient use of installation resources.
- Assist sales staff with scheduling information.
Additional Duties
- Ensure completion sign offs for each job.
- Train Install Team on proper techniques
- Complete safety training and ensure safety compliance with Install Team
- Coordinate job status updates with Install Scheduler
- Trouble- shoot specific problems as they are assigned.
- Conduct scheduled meetings with Install Team to review processes and best practices
- Relay job information to SOPT and the Operations Team
Competencies/Skills/Abilities
- Must be well versed and experienced in the countertop manufacturing and installation
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work with staff at all levels, inside and outside of the organization
- Strong communication skills; ability to speak and write clearly. Understands confidentiality
- Strong customer service skills; enjoys solving problems
- Strong skills with MS Office; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Work experience in both corporate and manufacturing environments would be helpful
