Sanford Animal Hospital is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician or Experienced Assistant to join our fast-paced, team-oriented small animal practice in Sanford, North Carolina. What Our Registered Veterinary Technician or Experienced Assistant Do
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed
- Take and process diagnostic radiographs
- Perform dental cleanings and assist with dental procedures
- Run in-house laboratory testing and diagnostics
- Monitor hospitalized patients and provide compassionate nursing care
- Maintain accurate medical records using EzyVet
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and teammates
- Support efficient hospital workflow while delivering exceptional patient care
What Our Registered Veterinary Technician or Experienced Assistant
- Current North Carolina Registered Veterinary Technician license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong technical and clinical skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Outstanding communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with EzyVet or similar practice management software is a plus
- A passion for providing exceptional veterinary care
