Following its opening in 2019, the Peninsula Heart Clinic is an independently operated cardiology centre in partnership with University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. Treatment at the Peninsula Heart Clinic is delivered through a new, state-of-the-art cardiac cath lab, 5-bed recovery, 5-chair radial lounge, 3 individual ensuite bedrooms and extensive outpatient clinic facilities.
The post holder will work as part of the Cardiac Care team across all aspects of cardiac nursing care including, ward, POA and assisting
medical staff in the Cath Lab with diagnostic and interventional procedures, angiogram, PCI, pacing and EPS. In this theatre style environment the
nurse/practitioner will have both scrub and circulating duties. There is a requirement to wear a lead PPE during any procedures in the Cath Lab.
