Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Quick Lube Service Advisor to join our automotive service team. Duties
Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing rapport and understanding their vehicle concerns
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify necessary services such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid top-offs, and basic maintenance
Explain recommended services clearly and confidently, emphasizing benefits and value through upselling opportunities
Utilize estimating software to prepare accurate service estimates and communicate options effectively to customers
Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining high-quality standards
Manage cash handling transactions accurately and efficiently during the service process
Document all work performed in the dealership’s service management system, including detailed descriptions of repairs and recommendations
Requirements
Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in auto service management is highly preferred
Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including transmissions, brakes, suspension, air conditioning, diesel engines, shocks & struts, alignments, and tire services
Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities to explain technical information clearly
Ability to upsell additional services by identifying customer needs and explaining benefits effectively
Dealership experience or collision repair background is a plus but not required
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to drive various vehicle types safely
Basic understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures is advantageous
