O-G Family & General Dentistry has proudly served the Ottawa and Glandorf communities since 1979, providing comprehensive dental care in a welcoming, patient-focused environment. We are seeking a Dental Assistant or Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our growing team and become a long-term part of our practice.
Whether you are an experienced EFDA, an established Dental Assistant, or a recent graduate eager to begin your career, we are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic, coachable, and committed to providing exceptional patient care. Schedule
Full-Time
Office Hours
- Monday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Tuesday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Occasional Fridays: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

What You'll Do
Dental Assistant Responsibilities
- Assist the doctor chairside during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient care
- Take and process digital radiographs
Assist hygienists as needed
- Clean, disinfect, and maintain treatment rooms
- Sterilize and organize instruments and equipment
- Stock operatories and clinical supplies
- Assist with shipping and receiving of cases and materials
Seat and dismiss patients
Make patient reminder calls when needed
Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the practice
EFDA Responsibilities (if applicable)
Perform expanded function duties as permitted by Ohio regulations
Place and finish restorations
Support doctors and team members with advanced clinical procedures
Assist chairside when needed and remain flexible in helping across clinical functions

Qualifications
- Dental Assistant or EFDA experience preferred, but not required
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
- Current certifications required by state regulations
