Compensation: $80k-130K/year
Rice Lake West, a self-performing general contractor building water and wastewater treatment plants in the
Colorado and The Dakotas, has an immediate full-time, long-term opening for a Superintendent in Dickinson, ND.
Primary
Function:
The superintendent is responsible for overseeing production as well as the scheduling and coordination of all other on-site construction activities, safety programs, and quality initiatives to deliver projects on time and under budget.
Educational Background
College degree in construction related field preferred - High School diploma with ample work experience accepted.
Practical Knowledge Needed
Civil Construction Means and Methods, Math and Complex Calculations, Critical Thinking as it applies to the breakdown and interpretation of Specifications and Plans, Critical Path Planning, Material Scheduling, Data Analysis, Organizational Methods, Writing Skills, Leadership and Communication.
Work Experience
Minimum 10 years relevant trade experience on highway heavy, industrial, or commercial construction projects responsible for crew management, document review, and production - or - post-secondary study resulting in Construction Management or Civil Engineering degree with a minimum of 5 years experience running work.
Computer Skills Applied
Microsoft Office Products, basic knowledge of scheduling software, Total Station.
Travel
Long term-term assignment to jobsite location which could be further than a reasonable commute distance from home. Housing assistance is available.
