Position Description
- New CDL Graduate Start your Career with Ryder's Driver Development Program
- We have a Class A Driver opening in Findlay, OH for New CDL Graduates that have received their CDL License. We want the right driver to join us at Ryder.
- 6-9 Months Experience ask about our Extended Driver Development Program!
We have developed proficiency-based training with experienced facilitators. Drivers will receive 8 weeks of training focusing on all backing, close quarter maneuvers, practice doing short and longer runs and get paid while doing so. Gain hands-on experience from the finest instructors in the industry.

Weekly Minimum Guarantee during training $1075 per week
Weekly Minimum Guarantee after training $1415 per week

Schedule: Monday – Friday or Sunday - Thursday

Requirements
- 9 months or less of CDL driving experience
- Minimum 21 years of age
Pass a Ryder Drug Test
Pass a Ryder background and a Motor Vehicle Registration check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
Pass a DOT physical
Pass a Ryder road test
Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A
Ability to
Follow written and/or oral instructions
Read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
Important Note
Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) regarding the checking in and out of freight
- Perform other duties as assigned
