As a Fire Health & Safety Officer at Sodexo, you'll play a vital role in keeping colleagues, patients, visitors and healthcare environments safe. Working within a busy NHS healthcare setting, you'll provide specialist fire safety advice, deliver essential training, and help ensure compliance with current fire safety legislation and healthcare standards.
What you'll do
- Provide specialist fire safety advice and guidance across the hospital estate
- Conduct fire risk assessments and develop associated action plans
- Deliver engaging fire safety and emergency evacuation training to colleagues
- Support fire safety audits, inspections and assurance activities
- Investigate fire-related incidents, unwanted alarm activations and near misses
- Produce fire safety reports and maintain accurate records
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including the Fire and Rescue Service
- Support managers in meeting their fire safety responsibilities and regulatory obligations
- stakeholders, and driving safety improvements across a complex healthcare environment.
