Are you an experienced Sonographer looking for an opportunity to work within a supportive, forward-thinking ultrasound team? We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practitioner Sonographer to join our Diagnostic Imaging Department at Yeovil Hospital.
Independently perform and report a wide range of ultrasound examinations.
Undertake obstetric, gynaecological and general medical ultrasound scanning.
Contribute to fetal anomaly screening services.
Communicate complex and sensitive information to patients with empathy and professionalism.
Provide specialist advice to clinicians regarding imaging findings and appropriate investigations.
Support the day-to-day running of the ultrasound service.
Participate in teaching, mentoring and supervision of students and colleagues.
Support service improvement, audit activities and departmental development.
Participate in weekend and Bank Holiday ultrasound services as required.
