Join St Luke's Hospice as a Hospitality Assistant and help provide a welcoming, high-quality service to patients, families, visitors and staff. Working as part of our Hospitality Team, you'll support the delivery of food and beverages throughout the hospice, maintain clean and safe hospitality areas, and contribute to the comfort and wellbeing of those in our care. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for customer service who wants to make a meaningful difference in a compassionate healthcare environment. We offer up to 30 hours per week and are happy to discuss flexible working arrangements with the successful candidate.
You will provide a friendly and professional hospitality service across the hospice, serving food and refreshments to patients, visitors and staff. The role includes supporting patients with food and drink choices, ensuring dietary requirements are communicated accurately, maintaining high standards of food hygiene and infection prevention, cleaning and restocking hospitality areas, processing payments, monitoring stock levels and working closely with both catering and clinical teams. You'll also support volunteers and new team members where required and contribute to creating a positive experience for everyone who visits St Luke's.

Support patients with meal choices and dietary requirements.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene, health and safety, and infection prevention.
Clean and replenish hospitality and beverage areas.
Process cash and card payments.
Monitor stock levels and report maintenance or equipment issues.
Work collaboratively with catering, hospitality and clinical teams.
Support volunteers and new starters as required.
