We have an exciting opportunity for a new Prosthetic clinician to join
our existing team in the vibrant coastal city of Portsmouth. Portsmouth has
easy transport links to London and is situated close to the Isle of Wight with
access to the countryside
(South Downs) within 3040 minutes for hiking, cycling, and weekend trips. The city has a combination
of historic attractions, a vibrant social scene and holds regular
arts, music, and sporting events.
A
prosthetist designs, fabricates, and fits artificial limbs (prostheses)
for patients who have experienced limb loss due to congenital conditions,
amputation, or injury, helping them to regain mobility, function, and
independence. Their role involves
assessing patient needs, working with technicians to create custom-fit devices,
and providing follow-up care to ensure proper fit and function.
To provide high
quality prosthetic care, and develop a wide range of knowledge and experience
in distinct areas of practice that can be specialist in nature
