Pay: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour
Position Summary
This is a hands-on job in an energizing and collaborative environment.
STOPS will provide on the job training, but a strong candidate will come armed with confident skills and an
understanding of makeup techniques and beauty trends – as well as
machine and hand sewing.
Individual should have an eye for organization, be inquisitive, open to feedback, and communicative as part of a team. Job Duties and Responsibilities ·
Learn to create and apply special effects make-up wounds for tactical training evolutions ·
Casting, molding, airbrushing, sculpting, and painting amputee sleeves, and prosthetic injuries ·
Design and create foam latex and silicone wounds and body parts ·
Responsible for organizing products, tools, and equipment for field operations
Pulling, laundering, mending, organizing, and/or constructing garments for tactical training
Assisting in preparing and tracking wardrobe assigned to projects Participating in maintaining accurate records of departmental activities, including inventory Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities ·
Hardworking and imaginative with exceptional team commitment ·
Strong attention to detail and outstanding communication skills ·
Ability to properly time manage to meet goals and deadlines
Familiarity with sewing equipment, hand sewing tools, and washers and dryers
Willingness to ask questions and receive constructive feedback
