We are seeking to recruit a Full-Time Facilities Assistant to join our team at Mill View Hospital, Hove. Mill View Hospital looks after people with acute mental health problems until they are ready to leave hospital and live in the Community. You will be working on in-patient wards and office/clinical areas. Full training will be provided. More information about the Hospital is via this link:
We are looking for self-motivated individuals who can work equally well on their own or as part of a team, to deliver and achieve high standards of environmental cleaning and prepare meals for service.
Duties include but are not limited to: - vacuum cleaning, damp mopping of floors, damp dusting of furniture/fittings, cleaning of mirrors and internal glass, sanitary ware, e.g. baths, showers, sinks, toilets, washing of tiled surfaces and paintwork, high dusting of walls and ceilings etc. In addition the role requires some food handling to support the provision of a meal service for patients in our care.
