About the role
Salary: £57528.00 to £64750.00
We're looking for an experienced CBT therapist and supervisor to join our welcoming and dynamic East Sussex CAMHS. This position is open to BABCP accredited CBT therapists and also HCPC registered clinical psychologists specialising in CBT who are BABCP accredited or accreditable. You should have a strong background in providing CBT to children, young people and families, and demonstrable experience of providing supervision within CAMHS or CYP services. It would be desirable for candidates to have additional CBT supervision training, and some experience of teaching, training and leadership, as part of this role. This post is open as a Band 7 to Band 8A preceptorship role. Progression to Band 8A is dependent upon successful completion of the PG-Certificate in CBT Supervision (or equivalent experience) and additional Band 8A key competencies within a specified timeframe, as outlined in the attached documents.
As a senior member of the East Sussex CAMHS team, you would participate in the core multi-disciplinary assessment and intervention work of the team and engage in multi-agency liaison work as necessary. You would also be required to participate in the supervision, training and the overall governance requirements of SPFT CAMHS.
Please see the attached job description for full role responsibilities and person specifications for this post. After reading both the Band 7 and Band 8A job descriptions, please specify if you are applying for the 8A post, or the 7 to 8A Preceptorship opportunity, within your application. If the successful candidate has not yet completed the Post-graduate Certificate in CBT Supervision, then they would be expected to complete this during their preceptorship period. This is a funded course.
