Annex 21 - 18 month training programme for a Band 6 post
The department offers a wide range of invasive and non-invasive investigations. Investigations include physiologist-led exercise testing, 24 hour ECG and BP monitoring and event recording. We provide a 24-hour primary PCI service alongside complex PCI and interventional techniques, TAVI service. We operate a busy Pacemaker and ICD implant and follow up service to include the use of remote monitoring, EPS + complex ablation and mapping procedures. We also carry out Physiology led clinics. The department is a teaching Hospital and is actively involved in research. We are also participating in a number of clinical research trials.
