HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
Job Summary
Is responsible for identifying, investigating, monitoring, and reporting healthcare-associated infections.
Collaborates with teams and individuals to create and sustain infection prevention strategies and provide feedback.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education
Baccalaureate degree in
Nursing
Public Health
Epidemiology
Clinical laboratory science
Medical Technology
Another related medical field.
Required Experience
Two (2) years of relevant infection prevention and control experience.
Preferred Experience
Two (2) years acute care hospital experience.
Required Certification/License/Registry
Licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 464 (Nursing), Part I (Nurse Practice Act).
Certification in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC®) credential from the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology (CBIC) within two (2) years post-hire.
Preferred Certification/License/Registry
Licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in accordance with Florida Statutes, Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 464 (Nursing), Part I (Nurse Practice Act).
CIC® credential from the CBIC at hire.
