Job Summary
- Provides educational and therapeutic interventions (coinciding with other treatment modalities) constructive and beneficial to patients’ mental health.
- Manages materials.

Supervises
None. Oversees music therapy interns and practicum students.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in music therapy (including coursework or an internship in a medical setting) from an American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) approved program
Preferred Education
Master’s degree in music therapy (including coursework or an internship in a medical setting) from an American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) approved program.
Required Experience
None
Preferred Experience
One (1) year of professional experience in a medical setting.
Required Certification/License/Registry
- Music Therapist--Board Certified (MT-BC) credential from the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT)
