Job Summary Entry Level Shipping / Receiving Associate - Composites
Implement the Order Fulfillment Process steps related to the preparation of shipments and related documentation to ensure the complete satisfaction of the customer’s requirements.
Knowledge of various items in stock; ability to select appropriate type and size of container; using appropriate packing material to prevent breakage or damage; closing and sealing containers; applying labels or entering identifying data on container.
Use of bar code readers, computer terminals or other electronic devices to track product.
Key Responsibilities Entry Level Shipping / Receiving Associate - Composites
Prepare product for shipment to the customer by inspecting, labeling and packaging product according to standard procedures.
Packaging 4x8, 3x6, and 3x10 material skids.
Confirm correct quantity/counts against work order or packing slip.
Reconcile raw materials against the packing slip.
Storage of raw materials in their designated home locations.
Operate forklift.
Load and unload trucks.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED with prior hands on, vocational or job-related course work/training, or any similar combination of education and experience.
Ability to operate a forklift
Preferred: Prior experience in a manufacturing industry with mixing, batching or compounding equipment is preferred.
Work Environment Entry Level Shipping / Receiving Associate - Composites
This role is performed in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and chemicals.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
The position may involve repetitive tasks and manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time.
