As a Delivery Suite and Triage Midwifery Coordinator at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust, I play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, effective, and compassionate delivery of maternity care across the maternity service. The role involves providing clinical leadership and operational oversight within the labour ward and maternity triage areas, coordinating patient flow, managing acuity, and ensuring that women and birthing people receive timely, high-quality care throughout their maternity journey.
You are responsible for the effective coordination and management of clinical activity within the maternity triage and delivery suite environments, ensuring the provision of safe and woman-centred care. The role requires strong clinical leadership, advanced decision-making skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities within a fast-paced and often unpredictable setting.
