Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Low Voltage Electrician's for projects located in or around Fairfax, LA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $62/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope
Install electrical raceways, conduit, and cable support systems
Pull, route, and secure electrical cable
Perform cable terminations
- Install cable bus systems and busways
- Install and assemble electrical equipment
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Follow all project safety requirements and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet project deadlines
Requirements
- Current Iowa Journeyman Electrician License required or a qualifying reciprocal Journeyman license (Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, South Dakota, Oklahoma, Texas, Wisconsin, or Wyoming)
- Must have personal electrical hand tools required to perform the job
- Dependable with reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Previous commercial or industrial electrical construction experience preferred
- Data center or large-scale commercial project experience is a plus
