Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Traveling Structural Fitters/Welders for projects located in Pocatello, ID; West Jordan, UT; Henderson, NV and El Mirage, AZ . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $36/hour based on experience plus $120/day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope
Read and interpret complex blueprints, structural drawings, and AWS welding symbols
Measure, mark, layout, and fit-up structural steel beams, columns, and heavy plates using clamps, jacks, and wedges
Perform Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW)
Operate fabrication equipment safely, including torch cutters, plasma cutters, and grinders
Prep metal surfaces by grinding and cleaning joints to ensure maximum weld penetration and eliminate defects
