Salary: £113565.00 to £150569.00
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and forward-thinking
Consultant General Surgeon with a special interest in Emergency General Surgery
to join our expanding surgical team at Lincoln County Hospital and Grantham Hospital.
Deliver high-quality emergency and elective general surgical care.
Contribute to the Surgical Emergency Admission Unit (SEAU) and emergency general surgery pathways.
Undertake elective theatre sessions and outpatient clinics.
Participate in the Consultant on-call rota for Emergency General Surgery.
Provide senior clinical decision-making and leadership within the multidisciplinary team.
Support the ongoing development of ambulatory emergency surgery services.
Supervise and train undergraduate medical students and postgraduate doctors in training.
Contribute to clinical governance, audit, quality improvement and service development initiatives.
Participate in departmental teaching programmes, mortality and morbidity meetings and multidisciplinary working
