Salary: £39959.00 to £48117.00
We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic midwives to join the practice development team as a Clinical Educators. This role will include mandatory and essential to role training, service activity, preceptorship programmes and clinical placements in line with Trust policies, procedures and national guidelines. Supporting new staff through the preceptorship and induction programmes and provide access to education and training to ensure both new and existing staff maintain required skills and competencies. Ensure training is evidence based and updated annually.
Teach and facilitate learning of a wide range of staff from MCA's, MSW's, midwives and the multi-professional team in line with the Maternity Incentive Scheme and Core Competency Framework
Offer clinical and pastoral support to newly qualified midwives.
Organise induction programs for a wide range of staff and liaise with the various departments within University Hospitals of Derby and Burton(UHDB) essential to the planning of such programs.
Support introduction of new equipment, pathways of care, guidance, assist with audit and lead on various projects.
Liaise with the professional development teams from nursing, AHP's and clinical skills.
