What You'll Do
As our Staff Accountant, you'll play a critical role in supporting day-to-day financial operations and ensuring accurate financial data across the organization.
Accounts Receivable & Order Management
- Process customer orders, quotes, invoices, and billings
- Apply and reconcile customer payments
- Monitor aging reports and assist with collections
- Resolve payment discrepancies and customer account issues
Accounts Payable & Purchasing
Process vendor invoices and purchase orders
Verify coding, approvals, and supporting documentation
Reconcile vendor statements
Coordinate with receiving and purchasing teams to resolve discrepancies
Cost & Manufacturing Accounting
- Assist with inventory transactions and reconciliations
- Support job costing and work order tracking
- Help prepare journal entries, accruals, and month-end reconciliations
- Maintain organized records and internal controls
NetSuite Implementation Support
Assist with data validation, migration, and testing
Support parallel system comparisons
Help document processes and train users on new workflows
Requirements
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Experience with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and month-end close activities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to commit to a minimum six-month engagement with interest in a long-term opportunity
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with NetSuite ERP
Manufacturing accounting experience
- Knowledge of inventory valuation, work-in-process (WIP), standard costing, or job costing
- ERP implementation or conversion experience
