About the role
The Planning team provides value add by:
- Managing or completing supply planning based on a number of indicators (sales forecast, orders, production data).
- Analyzing, controlling and reporting on relevant KPI, detecting plan deviations, and deriving recommendations.
- Developing supplier forecasts and determine logistical processes with suppliers.
- Analyzing order plans and critical timelines, and double-checking of available materials, parts or products in stock.
- Executing load balancing calculations, and cooperating with other plants for respectively optimized plans.
- Planning of monthly or weekly production program for the assigned plant(s).
- Calculating and deploying short-term (day-to-day) production plans for assigned production resources.
- The Coordinator: Plans the material, machine or personnel resources needed, in support of or cooperation with accountable Planning staff
- Performs procurement orders, and prepares production or transportation orders according to the plans agreed.
- Prepares short-term resource plans, monitors efficiency of processes, and proposes short-term measures when necessary.
- Supports the team in identifying deficiencies or improvement potential.
