We are looking to recruit a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly general practice team, working across our 4 Bexhill practices. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the nursing team to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care to our patients.
Undertake clinical activities including ECG's, blood tests, wound care, and NHS health checks.
Support annual health promotion activities (for diabetes and anti-coagulation).
Process samples and maintain accurate patient records using clinical templates.
Monitor and maintain infection control standards, including fridge temperature checks and COSHH compliance.
Assist with weekly checks of stock and calibration of equipment.
Manage stock rotation and ordering of medical supplies and equipment as required.
Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and colleagues, adapting to different needs and cultural backgrounds.
Ensure adherence to practice policies and procedures, safeguarding, and health and safety requirements.
